1905 FALL

1905 SPRING

1904

Double round of Diplomacy! 2 years in one night. This is going to be exciting.

The nations gather once again around the board. What moves will they make? What alliances will be tested? What enemies will be made?

Austria-Hungary contemplates their manuevers while his Russian ally laughs on - what does he know?

France solitarily plans. Interesting . . .

The Dual leaders of Turkey try to figure out how to survive another day, with one of the Italian Kings look on.

Curiouser and curioser.

Europes powers gather to make their moves.

SPRING 1904

The hand of Italy shadows the board. Italy is attacked by France. Franch supports her allies nemesis to help take Germany. Britain and Germany try to secure the North while Germany suffers against the loss of the Fatherland. Turkey continues its struggle against Russia and Austria-Hungary.

The German-British alliance continues to hold out. Can they fight off Russia and now Austria-Hungary? Can they keep their gains in Russia?

They check over War Room B's map.

In the main War Room, the Eastern alliance of Russia-Austria-Hungary also plot. Do they have any more tricks up their sleaves as they fight their two front war?

While tensions are high, the pressure seems to have gotten to some. Even neutral nations.

FALL 1904

A crazy end of year! France continues the struggle against Italy forcing them out of Tunis. Germany

Fall 1903

Spring 1903 brought about some very interesting moves. The tides of war are changing though.

Turkey goes high tech using Germany's portable command centre. Germany is working with Turkey right? He's not casually spying is he?

The Russian/Austria-Hungarian alliance goes to their usual base of strategy. Working together against Turkey, they plot to dominate.

The Games Master moves fleets and armies across Europe.

Austria-Hungary attacks Germany and Italy! Meanwhile their maneuvers with Russia against Turkey are thwarted - Turkey takes a chance and prevails for another year. Russia maintains its siege on Berlin, but loses to joint German/English assault on Sweden. Italy faces enemies on both sides as France and Austria-Hungary seemingly carve up the boot.

Neutral observer Chris is shocked by the bloodshed and extremely complicated moves.

All nations contemplate the difficult moves in the Scandinavian regions. Technicalities and the rules of war confound Russia, while England and Germany celebrate a hollow victory that cost too much. Everyone watches the shocking developments and wonder if such a situation could happen to them.

The progress of the war is slow. The balance of power has shifted. Battles have been lost, but the war is far from over.

Europe stands in shock. While the battle lines barely moved, there is a great sense of loss. The mood is heavy. The leaders of these seven nations of the war retreat for the winter to regroup, rethink, and plan out success for 1904. It has been a long night, and the first real blood spilt. There are no celebrations and no end in sight.

What would the Arch Duke say about these turn of events . . .

Map at the end of Fall 1903

Spring 1903

Negotiations were furious. Nations scrambling to protect borders while others strategize to cross those borders. All in all, more blood is shed.

Once again, Greece is a matter of contention as Austria-Hungary's navy slips into the Ionion, but still prevents Turkey's valiant attempts to break out of the Medieranian. The Triple Alliance of France/England/Germany works well as it pushes East in the South, and defends it's middle and top from Russia's bite. Italy sees sharks all around . . .

1902

WAR!

Spring 1902
The lines have been drawn, but not all treaties and friendships are what they seem to be.

Turkey and Austria-Hungary in serious negotiations. Can these two powers find peace?

Mass strategy in the War Room. A neutral observer watches over the blood thirsty nations.

Is this the mysterious Arch Duke?

France watches over England's plans. Who holds the real power in this alliance?

Germany seeks parley with Russia. What dealings can be made? What is Russia doing inside the borders of the German Reich?

FALL 1902

Blood and betrayal! Turkey defends against border invasions from Russia and Austria-Hungary. A German invasion of France ends with the Russian invasion into Berlin. England continues the push into Scandinavia and opens a third front on Russia. Italy pulls back to protect the boot. France on the West, Austria-Hungary on the right?

The year might be over, but I see seven nations, and many are now screaming for blood. Betrayal, confusion, greed. The game is now truly afoot.

While other nations return home to review the year, a few stay behind to continue to strategize. Winter, and next Tuesday is a long time away.

I wonder what the Arch Duke will have to say . . .

1901

.

The final days of 1900; nations speak to each other. There is tension in the air.

Negotiations. Can war be averted?

Last minute calculations. Demands are being made. What will happen? Only time will tell.

SPRING 1901

Very cautious year. No conflicts, but these nations are on the move to grab power.

Back to stategizing. King Sherif is joined by new co-king Sameer.

What shocking moves are about to happen as the season changes?

FALL 1901

We have conflict. Border clashes. Germany successfully defends it's border against an opportunistic Italy. Turkey clashes against Austria-Hungary as both fight for dominance in the Balkan region with skirmishes in Bulgaria and Greece.

Is this the begining of war?

Will the secret alliance system plunge Europe into World War?
